Carnarvon District Office will partner with local agencies to hold a community event which will promote National Child Protection Week and the family support available in the area.

The City of Rockingham in Partnership with South Coastal Health and Community Services are hosting 3 free Protective Behaviours workshops for Parents, guardians and Carers for Child Protection Week. Monday 3 September 2018 (9.30am-11.30am), Wednesday 5 September (5.30pm-7.30pm) and Saturday 8 September (9am-11am). Free Creche facilities are available via RSVP only. Download Workshop Flyer

The District Office will be collaborating with local agencies to disseminate information to local families about the services available in the district with an aim to build stronger communities.

Community Garden event to raise awareness about child safety.

Community activity event, linking with the Cockburn library parent and children reading group where parents have the ability to learn about support services in a fun and friendly environment.

Community stall event that invites community members to make a pledge on how they can support families to keep children safe. These pledges would be written on cut out hands and displayed behind the stall. The stall will also have colouring in sheets for children.
