Family Fun Day Bankstown

Description:An opportunity for families to come together at the local park to engage with services have fun with kindy farm, clown face painter, printed CP balloons and wristbands for children and a drawing table. Opportunity to have community conversations and distribute information that contribute to child & family wellbeing.

Child Protection Week & White Balloon Day

Description:During Child Protection Week NAPCAN posters are being displayed at key points around the Orange Health Service. On Friday Sept 6th staff in Community Health, Allied Health, Paediatrics Ward, Emergency, Maternity Unit, and the Wayfinders (volunteers) can choose to wear a white T- shirt with a sticker with the White Balloon Day logo on it. Bunches of helium filled White Balloon Day balloons will be placed in visible locations in each of these areas, and alongside will be information brochures including NAPCAN leaflets, Beyond Blue leaflets, information about Child Sexual Assault services, Child & Family Health Services, and Famiiles NSW brochures. There will be local media coverage. The aim is to raise awareness, and promote conversations about the issues of child abuse and neglect in all its forms, and to promote awareness amongst the local community of where to go to seek support/information.
